Explosive licence for Industrial Use

Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESO) is a Government Organization created to regulate and monitor the manufacture, import, export, transport, possession, sale and use of explosives, petroleum products and compressed gases as envisaged under the Explosives Act 1884 and Petroleum Act 1934. Thus for any industry it is mandatory to seek explosive licence to manufacture, import, export, transport, possession, sale and use of explosives, petroleum products and compressed gases.

A. Provisional NOC
  1. Gram Panchayat NOC
  2. 7/12 extract
  3. Form No IX dully signed by Authorized Person
  4. D/D of Rs 400/- in the name of THE CHIEF CONTROLLER OF EXPLOSIVE, payable at Mumbai in case of ground Tank and Nagpur in case of Overhead tank.
  5. 4 Copies of Plant Layout, Elevation Construction Details, and Details of tank site plan of 100 Mtrs & some notes.
  6. Establishment will get the Approval for Explosive License.
B. Final NOC (Licence)
  1. Form No.IX Dully Filled and Signed by the applicant.
  2. Rs.______ /-D.D (@ Rs 1000/- for 50 kilo litre Per year)
  3. 4Copies of Plant Layout as above
  4. NOC From Collector / Dist Authority
  5. Factory Regn. Copy. (SSI or LSI)/Company Incorporation Certificate
  6. Memorandum of Articles/ Partnership Deed)
  7. Project Report
  8. Some Photograph of Plant tank area Etc
  9. Tank Testing Certificate from Charter Engineer
  10. NOC from the supplier of the Petroleum Product (Letter Of Intent)
  11. Gram Panchayat NOC
  12. 7/12 extract
  13. Police SP NOC
  14. Health And Safety Department NOC
  15. MSEB NOC
  16. Tahsildar NOC
  17. PWD/NAHI/ZP NOC

STAGES involved in application of Explosive Licence:

Stage 1: Collection of all the documents.

Stage 2: Online submission of application to get provisional NOC

Stage 3: Collection of documents for application for explosive licence.

Stage 4:Submission of application to Jt. Chief Controller of explosive (Mumbai for Explosive Product and Nagpur for LPG)

Stage 5:Follow up with the concern authority to resolve queries raised by the same
